From leading research scientist Dr Prudence Mutowo, to pioneering film-maker Dawn Porter and innovative poet-caster Alex Pryce, the Women of the Future candidates really are Britain’s new role models. The 2008 winners included women making huge strides in blue-chip organisations such as BT and Ernst & Young.
We are now seeking nominations for the 2009 awards, held in association with Shell. If you’re a young woman aiming for the top; or if you know younger women whose achievements already deserve recognition, we want to hear about them.
The Women of the Future Awards are presented in the following categories:

- Entrepreneurial Woman of the Future

The Young Star Award In 2009, we are introducing a new award to acknowledge high achievers aged 16 – 21. The Young Star Award is for teenage girls showing exceptional promise within their industry, university or school. These individuals will be exhibiting real talent and they are definitely ones to watch!
